Your role is determined by the combination of weapons in your team. Focus on one role to start but eventually you will have enough weapons to switch between roles.

First decide what role you want to play:

• Attack - Damage Dealer (DPS)

  • Most common role for players

  • As a new player you will be far behind veteran players damage-wise in multiplayer content until you have spent many months to catch up

• Benediction - Healer/Support

  • Required in almost all the hardest endgame content

  • A role for new players to be relevant in multiplayer content

  • Involves supporting teammates through healing, shielding, buffing, removing debuffs, damage/death mitigation, and debuffing enemies - all while attacking enemies and doing mechanics

• Fortitude - Tank

  • Niche role that is only useful in a few raids and occasional challenging endgame content

  • Very few people have this as a main role, usually a side role
